Confirmed IS Urban Planner Consultant

We are looking for an experienced IS Urban Planner consultant to provide technical support in the mapping and urbanization of the information system, on behalf of one of our banking clients based in Paris.

Context :
Our client, a large banking institution, undertook the implementation of an information systems security master plan. The main objective is to raise the level of security of the IS and to comply with regulatory obligations.

Mission objectives include:

• Analyze the existing situation, identify the different business objects, their relationships on the different functional and application layers, and identify data flows.
• Contribute to the different phases of the project and developments on architectural needs (preliminary project, project).
• Define environmental needs and make associated requests.
• Check the consistency and conformity of the objects analyzed in relation to the principles of IS architecture.
• Ensure technical coordination on different aspects (between stakeholders from the IT department divisions, at the level of interfaces, decommissioning and data recovery).
• Identify obsolete components so that the team in charge of combating obsolescence can offer solutions for version upgrades, patching or decommissioning.
• Write deliverables regarding the architectural frameworks relating to the technologies recommended in the projects.
• Lead the bi-weekly architecture committees.

Technical skills required:

• Good knowledge of the global information system and IS governance.
• Excellent knowledge of IS urbanization principles.
• Good knowledge of IT security.
• High technical level (operating systems, database management systems, application servers).
• Good knowledge of exchange platforms.
• Good knowledge of service-oriented architectures or APIs.
• Good knowledge of Master Data Management issues.
• Good knowledge of decision-making architectures.
• Good knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• CaseWise Evolve expertise would be a plus.

Required methodological skills:

• Knowledge of architectural framework methodologies.
• Knowledge of IS mapping methodologies.
• Knowledge of development standards and methods.
• Experience in project management (technical coordination) and application integration.
• Relational qualities and diplomacy, to work in close collaboration with architects/integrators, exchange with the different entities of the IT department, business departments, project management, project management and security (RSSI).

Deliverables:
Participation and holding of meetings.
Monitoring reports on supplies delivered and services performed.
Application and functional mapping documents.
