PMO Lead – Salesforce Implementation | Insurance Industry

We are looking for an experienced PMO Lead to support our client, a leader insurance company in Riyadh, in managing the end-to-end Salesforce CRM implementation. The role involves overseeing project governance, ensuring seamless integration with core insurance systems, and driving successful delivery through structured methodologies.

Tea PMO Lead will work closely with senior stakeholders, IT teams, and Salesforce consultants to ensure alignment with business objectives, optimize project execution, and maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia.

The mission is to streamline CRM operations, enhance policyholder engagement, and improve sales and claims management through Salesforce technology.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Governance & Delivery Management

• Establish and manage a PMO framework for the Salesforce implementation project.
• Define project governance structures, reporting lines, and decision-making processes.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and insurance regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and financials.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and external Salesforce consultants.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Engage with C-suite executives, business leaders, and IT teams to ensure project objectives align with strategic goals.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Develop and execute a change management strategy to drive user adoption of Salesforce across sales, underwriting, and claims teams.
• Conduct regular executive reporting and project status updates.

Process Optimization & Integration

• Oversee the integration of Salesforce with core insurance systems (eg, policy administration, claims management, underwriting platforms).
• Work with Salesforce consultants and internal IT teams to ensure seamless data migration and system interoperability.
• Standardize CRM workflows to improve lead management, policy renewals, and customer interactions.

Risk & Compliance Oversight

• Identify project risks, define mitigation strategies, and track compliance with insurance regulatory guidelines in Saudi Arabia.
• Ensure data governance and security measures align with SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) and local insurance regulations.
• Manage project audits and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and insurance industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in PMO roles for IT and CRM implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce deployment within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Proven track record in project governance, risk management, and change management.
• Experience in data migration, system integration, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with C-level executives and IT teams.
• Knowledge of Saudi insurance regulations and SAMA compliance standards.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
