Consultant Middle Officer Trade Finance - Banking sector (F/H)

Duration: 5 months | Start: ASAP | Location: Charenton-le-Pont | Daily rate: max. €450 l Fixed-term contract or freelance

We are looking for a consultant for a mission of Middle Officer in Trade Finance within a banking institution based in Charenton.

This mission is part of the monitoring and control of operations related to documentary credits, customer outstandings, as well as syndicated documentary credit operations.

Roles and responsibilities :

The consultant will mainly work on:

• Trade Finance Operations Management:
  • Monitoring of export documentary credits.
  • Control of outstanding customer accounts and management of syndicated documentary credit operations.
• Implementation and monitoring of regulatory systems:
  • Study applicable regulations and map production processes.
  • Ensure the existence and compliance of production and internal control procedures.
  • Manage the monitoring systems for ratios and identified malfunctions.
• Participation in operational work:
  • Contribution to the acceptance and production phases of prudential and regulatory reporting.

Required Skills :

• Education: Holder of a higher diploma (Bac+3 minimum) in finance, international trade or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years in the field of Trade Finance products, ideally in Middle Office.
• Technical skills:
  • Good command of export documentary credits and monitoring of customer outstandings.
  • Knowledge of syndicated documentary credit operations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, etc.).
• Personal skills:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
  • Minimum English level B2 required.

Location: Charenton-le-Pont, with in-person organization.
Start: early February 2025
Duration: 5 months minimum (until June 30, 2025).
TJM: max 450 € (freelance) / or 40k€ (gross annual salary)
