Deputy Accounting Department

Duration: 6 months | Start: 01/07/2023 | Location: Paris Intramuros

We are looking for an Interim Manager to assist the Deputy Accounting Director on behalf of a Bank client, based in Paris.

Context 
Following the departure of the group director from the accounting department, and the resumption of his functions, there is a need for reinforcement to carry out all the work to be carried out by the top accounting management. It should be noted that this development is occurring in a context of strong transformation of the bank, generating a high project load.

Objectives of the service 
- Ensure the monitoring, coordination and structuring of ongoing projects impacting finance (projects peripheral to their transformation project - example: merger project with the Italian subsidiary, or new products committee relating to the dismantling of loans etc.)
- Ensure interactions with the CACs (presentation of analyses, answers to questions, etc.)
- Ensure the monitoring and production of technical documentation on tax, accounting, economic issues and transactions.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Director of Group Accounting

Required profile
- High seniority
- Interim manager type profile or very senior consultant capable of instructing, producing and presenting files to a governing body.
- Mastering French bank accounting, banking products in particular market
