Cultural and Creative Industries (M/F)

Duration: 14 months | Start: early November 2024 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: according to profiles

We are looking for an independent consultant to support the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) team of a large development bank based in Paris. The consultant will contribute to the implementation of the ICC strategy and will ensure the steering and monitoring of internationally funded projects, with a focus on Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Roles and responsibilities

• Support for local agencies on ongoing and new ICC projects, in specific geographic areas.
• Steering and monitoring of structuring projects linked to cultural infrastructures, professional training, cultural entrepreneurship and cultural public policies.
• Support for the development of new initiatives linked to the creative industries, particularly in the context of international cultural cooperation.
• Participation in field missions (around 4 over the duration of the consultancy).
• Support for new arrivals in the ICC team (interns, work-study students).

Deliverables

• Monthly activity reports presenting the progress of projects, as well as recommendations.
• Organization and monitoring of project steering meetings with local and international stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Bac +5 diploma in cultural project management or equivalent, with a specialization in Cultural and Creative Industries (ICC).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international cultural cooperation, project management and ICC development.
• Knowledge of financial tools used by development agencies and financial institutions.
• Field experience in international environments.
• Fluency in English (written and oral) essential.
