Expert Fincrime / Market Abuse Tech

Duration: 6 months | Start: 10/2022 | Location: Paris | TJM: €600-€900

We are looking for a freelance consultant (M/F) with a Market Abuse Tech expertise to work on a transformation project for the Compliance function (IS/Techno component).

Roles & expected deliverables:

• Supporting financial security and compliance departments as well as their IT departments in their strategic discussions around market abuse monitoring systems:
  • support for strategy, performance and compliance of technologies, organization and governance
  • selection of appropriate monitoring models and scenarios (by profession, activity, type of clientele, etc.),
  • alignment of information systems and technologies with monitoring and risk management needs as well as new regulations;
• Audit and analysis of these devices, in particular to advise customers on the requirements for data, products and systems to be monitored, the configuration of monitoring models and scenarios, the analysis, management and investigation of alerts as well as that the assessment of the impacts on their existing technologies, their organization and their processes;
• Support in the work of implementing and testing solutions, calibration/tuning methodologies of alert thresholds and operational procedures for investigating alerts.

Required profile :

• 5 to 10 years of experience
• Experienced in transforming the Compliance function and the fight against financial crime for the market abuse aspect (MAR)
• Desired knowledge of tools, notably Actimize (MSE, etc.)
• Knowledge of Smarts, B-next, LiquidMetrix tools
