IS/DATA Project Manager – Banking Sector (M/F)

Duration: 1 year renewable | Start: ASAP | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max. €800 / €850 depending on profiles

We are looking for a IS / DATA Project Director experienced to lead a strategic project to set up a data warehouse dedicated to the Finance and Risks domains in the banking sector. This long-term mission, based in Paris, is aimed at a profile capable of supervising several project managers, leading strategic committees for executives (C-level), and ensuring the success of projects in a complex and demanding environment.

Roles and responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate a team of project managers for the development and implementation of a data warehouse dedicated to the Finance and Risk areas.
• Define and monitor project objectives, respecting deadline, budget and quality constraints.
• Lead steering committees and strategic committees with high-level contacts (C-level).
• Work closely with business teams (Finance and Risk) and IT teams to ensure alignment of needs and solutions.
• Identify and manage project risks, propose suitable solutions to ensure its continuity.
• Ensure project governance, produce regular reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required Skills :

• Proven experience in managing large IT projects, ideally in the banking or insurance sector.
• Significant experience in IS/DATA project management in the banking sector, ideally on projects related to Finance and Risks.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehouse concepts and their use for business needs.
• Strong skills in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
  Excellent command of the animation of strategic committees for an audience of executives (C-level).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, V-Cycle, or equivalent).
• Very good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop in a demanding environment with high responsibility

Location of the mission: Paris.
Teleworking possible up to 2 days per week.
Freelance.
Full-time.
