Compliance Program Manager – Anti-Money Laundering (Insurance)
Duration: April 2025 - December 2025 | Start: Mid-April 2025 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: According to profile

We are looking for a Freelance Compliance Program Manager to lead a program to strengthen the anti-money laundering system, compliance with international sanctions and the fight against the financing of terrorism for a leading insurer.

Scope of the mission

• Strong expertise in compliance program management (Backlog, Capacity Planning, adherence, arbitration sheets, etc.).
• Mobilization of IT, compliance and business stakeholders with a view to landing a trajectory.
• Monitoring of projects included in the annual trajectory and the post-ACPR control reinforcement plan.
• Organization of arbitration points with Financial Security, IT and market departments.
• Tracking and updating build metrics (eg: number of PPE screened applications).
• Coordination of comitology and drafting of reports for the following bodies:
  • Committee with IT & Compliance sponsors (monthly).
  • Committee with the Markets (Savings, P&C, Health Insurance-Retirement and overseas subsidiaries) (every 6 weeks).
  • Executive Committee (quarterly).
  • Committee of Directors (biannual).
• Update of the multi-year trajectory and monitoring of the project backlog.

Required Skills

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in program management in the financial sector (ideally insurance).
• Regulatory expertise: Anti-money laundering, compliance with international sanctions, CFT.
• Program Management Skills: Roadmap monitoring, stakeholder coordination, program management.
• Automation (a plus): SQL, VBA, Power BI.

Mission Details

Duration: Part-time in April 2025, then full-time until December 2025.
Location: Paris.
Status: Freelance – Full time.
