Data sharing governor

We are looking for a consultant Data sharing governor on behalf of one of our insurance clients based in Paris as part of a strategic Data transformation project.

Context

As part of the Data transformation, the Data Management Office (DMO) is looking to strengthen its data governance capabilities by recruiting an independent consultant. The DMO is responsible for defining and implementing the company's data governance strategy. The mission focuses on harmonizing data sharing practices, both internal and external, to ensure compliance with new regulations and optimize data exchanges within the group.

Roles and responsibilities

As Data Sharing Governor, you will report directly to the DMO manager.

Your main missions will be as follows:

1. Data Manager of the External Data Domain :
   • Define the framework for using external data (principles, standards, procedures) to manage and adapt the 2024-2026 roadmap.
   • Support cross-functional initiatives, particularly in enterprise data and geographic risk management programs.
   • Map the uses and expectations of the professions, and carry out market monitoring.
2. Contribution to the FIDA (Open Insurance) program :
   • Support compliance with the new European FIDA regulations, in conjunction with sector associations.
3. Group contact for the One Data Mesh program :
   • Facilitate data exchanges between the group and its entities, by optimizing sharing processes within the company's ecosystem.

Required Skills

• Bac +5 diploma in computer science, statistics, data governance or equivalent.
• Significant experience in data sharing, ideally as a Project Manager, with exposure to regulatory projects (e.g. DSP2).
• Excellent ability to popularize complex concepts and to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Project management skills, with experience in the insurance and/or retail banking sector appreciated.
• Fluent in French and English.

Mission Details

• Duration : 6 months, renewable.
• Start date : As soon as possible.
• Place : Mission based in Paris, with the possibility of partial teleworking.
