Bank Management Controller (M/F)

We are looking for a consultant Management control (approx. 5 years of experience) on behalf of one of our banking clients based in Paris for a minimum period of 6 months.

As part of the overall profitability and financial management strategy, our client, a major bank, is looking for a freelance consultant to join the Results and Forecasts team. This team plays a key role in providing the General Management with the financial analyses needed to inform its strategic decisions. The consultant will be involved in the production, consolidation and analysis of financial results, while interacting with the different departments (Strategy, Risk, business lines, Sustainable Banking).

Roles and responsibilities :

• Coordinate and produce monthly and quarterly results for the various business lines and support functions.
• Monitor the feedback of results in management tools, organize coordination meetings and carry out initial analyses (N-1 comparison & budget).
• Carry out analytical transfers (distribution of results between businesses, consolidation of levels): configuration, entry and analysis.
• Enter and calculate Intermediate Management Balances (IMB): expenses, variable compensation, taxes, and distribution of net results in management tools.
• Produce financial analyses, key indicators (RoNE, Coex) and reports for General Management.

Required Skills :

• 3 to 5 years of experience in management control or financial analysis, ideally in the banking sector.
• Mastery of financial management tools.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with a high level of demand.
• Analytical mind and rigor in the consolidation and interpretation of financial data.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
