Senior Consultant Organization & Process – Banking Sector

Duration: 21 months | Start: April / May 2025 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: according to profile

As part of a strategic transformation program for a major player in the banking sector, we are looking for a Independent Senior Consultant specializing in organization and process optimization to support the definition of target processes and the estimation of efficiency gains across all projects.

The mission is part of a long-term approach and aims to guarantee the overall consistency of the directions taken, the harmonization of the methodologies applied, as well as a cross-functional vision of the connections between processes.

Roles and responsibilities

The consultant will be integrated into the project teams and will work closely with the various program representatives. Their main missions will be as follows:

• Define and implement the methodology for defining target processes and evaluating efficiency gains
• Lead workshops with stakeholders and produce associated deliverables (target processes, procedures, flowcharts, RACI, gain estimates, etc.)
• Have the deliverables validated by the contributing professions and the organizational referents
• Support project teams in the implementation of defined methodologies
• Participate in project governance bodies and ensure regular reporting to stakeholders
• Contribute to the harmonization of practices across the program
• Participate in or lead cross-functional studies (e.g. user journeys)
• Work in coordination with other members of the cross-functional team: those responsible for functional consistency, UX design, and program planning

The consultant will rely on existing methodological tools and standards (Lean 6 Sigma, process modeling, intervention charter, etc.) and will propose, if necessary, adjustments to ensure the effectiveness of the actions taken.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in process optimization and management of transformation projects
• Experience in the banking sector essential (ideally +7 years, a little less acceptable depending on profile)
• Green Belt certification at least (Lean 6 Sigma)
• Mastery of Lean 6 Sigma methodologies, process modeling and change management
• Experience in facilitating workshops and producing quality deliverables
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work in project mode
• Excellent structuring, analysis and synthesis skills
• Leadership, autonomy and collaborative spirit
