Purchasing Process Consultant (Banking Sector)
Duration: 18 months | Start: early September 2024 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: according to profiles
We are looking for a freelance consultant for a mission with one of our clients, a major player in the banking sector based in Paris. This mission, lasting 18 months, mainly consists of developing and improving the purchasing processes of the group and its subsidiaries.
Roles and responsibilities
- Analyze existing purchasing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Write purchasing procedures for the group and its subsidiaries, in collaboration with internal teams.
- Ensure continuous improvement of procedures.
- Train and support internal teams in the implementation of new procedures.
- Manage and coordinate the actors/stakeholders and governance associated with the implementation of procedures with subsidiaries (qualification interviews, definition of run models, validation of stakeholders, etc.)
Deliverables
- Complete documentation of purchasing procedures.
- Analysis reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Performance indicators for process monitoring.
Required Skills
- Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in the financial sector, with a specialization in purchasing processes.
- Expertise in writing and process improvement, ideally BPMN or Lean 6 Sigma certified.
- Project management skills (PMO), with excellent coordination and communication skills.
+ Rigor, analytical skills, and ability to work in a team.
Mission Details
Duration: 6 months firm (Start of September 24 to end of February 25) + possibility of one-year extension
