Senior PMO Consultant

Duration: 2 years | Start: July 2024 | Location: Paris | TJM: according to profiles

Context of the mission:

We are looking for a consultant to play the role of PMO (Project Management Office) on the finance and risk perimeter on behalf of one of our banking clients based in Paris. The consultant's mission will be to manage a portfolio of projects, manage and coordinate the PMO unit, and optimize the current organization.

Main responsibilities:

1. Management/PMO of a project portfolio:

- Ensure the management and coordination of projects within the portfolio.

- Monitor the progress of projects and ensure compliance with deadlines, costs and quality objectives.

2. Consolidation of the Budget and Planning:

- Carry out the consolidation of the budgets of the different projects.

- Implement and monitor the overall project planning.

3. Preparation and Organization of Program Steering Committees:

- Prepare steering committees (agenda, monitoring documents, etc.).

- Lead steering meetings and ensure follow-up of decisions taken.

4. Preparation of Presentation Materials:

- Develop clear and concise presentation materials for steering committees and other strategic meetings.

5. Optimization of the Current Organization:

- Propose and implement actions aimed at optimizing the processes and organization of the PMO.

- Ensure continuous improvement of working methods and tools used.

6. Leadership:

- Demonstrate strong leadership to mobilize teams and stakeholders.

- Act as a referent in project management and PMO coordination.

Required profile :

- Proven experience in project portfolio management and PMO management.

- Solid skills in budget consolidation and planning management.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to prepare impactful presentation materials.

- Ability to optimize processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

- Asserted leadership and ability to unite teams around projects.

Location: Paris (Teleworking: 2 days/week)
