Insurance accounting consultant

We are looking for a insurance accounting consultant for an accounting support mission within a major player in the life insurance sector, specializing in savings and retirement based in the Paris region (Levallois).
The mission focuses on supporting accounting teams in managing accounts and closing financial years, in compliance with current regulatory standards, in particular Solvency 2.

Roles and responsibilities :

The consultant will work on the following missions:

• Implementation and control of the accounting cycles of a life insurance company (investments, technical, taxation, general expenses, reinsurance)
• Preparation and verification of financial statements and annexes to the accounts
• Production and control of regulatory statements of a Life company (ENS)
• Preparation and validation of prudential statements of a life company
• Preparation of tax returns and declarations (C3S, CVAE)
• Implementation and documentation of control procedures

Required Skills :

• Solid knowledge of life insurance company accounting
• Mastery of taxation applicable to insurance companies
• Expertise in the Solvency 2 regulatory framework
• Excellent writing skills for setting up procedures
