Regulatory Compliance - Section 871(m) Expert

We are looking for an experienced freelance consultant for a consulting mission with one of our clients in the banking sector in Paris. The mission concerns compliance with Volcker and 871m regulations, requiring in-depth expertise in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Roles and responsibilities :

• Analyze and interpret the requirements of the Volcker and 871m regulations.
• Evaluate and challenge regulatory exemptions or exclusions.
• Advise on best practices in regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with compliance and project management teams.
• Ensure regulatory monitoring and updating of internal procedures.
• Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to stakeholders.

Deliverables:

• Reports on analysis and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
• Documentation of compliance processes and recommendations.
• Regular presentations on the status of compliance and points of attention.
• Compliance plan and implementation monitoring.

Required Skills :

• Confirmed expertise of Volcker and 871m regulations.
• Significant experience in compliance or regulatory project management.
• Ability to critically analyze and question exemptions or exclusions.
• In-depth knowledge of Asset Management.
• Fluent in English (prerequisite)
