Insurance technical accountant

We are looking for an insurance technical accounting consultant to carry out routine production tasks, on behalf of one of our Insurance clients, based in Paris.

Context

This involves replacing a departure within the insurance activity and participating in projects on which internal teams will be mobilized.
The team to be strengthened is a multi-subject team: French / IFRS / Taxation / regulatory / QRT.
The consultant will have the ability to help with the implementation of automation or assistance with portfolio migration. The role is to be the deputy to the head of this department, the other members of the team being rather junior.

Roles and expected deliverables: 

• 1. Assistance with closing under social standards, IFRS and regulatory reporting within the scope of the IARD technical accounting department
  • Assistance in carrying out premium and claims flow control activities in direct or delegated management,
  • Assistance in carrying out inventory and technical provisioning activities,
  • Assistance in carrying out insurance tax management activities,
  • Assistance in carrying out consolidation package or regulatory reporting activities (ENS, Solvency 2)
• 2. Support for projects from the IARD technical accounting department (on available time outside closing periods)
  • Assistance to the IARD technical accounting department on portfolio migration projects in the new management tool
  • Assistance on projects related to the merger with CNP
  • Assistance with the implementation of new IFRS17 closing processes

Skills sought 

• Very operational profile of technical insurance accountant for current production
• 5 to 10 years of experience desired on similar missions

Start of mission: ideally end of January 2024 to ensure a handover
