Technical accounting Life insurance

We are looking for a consultant with expertise in life insurance technical accounting on behalf of one of our insurance clients based in Paris.

Context

Pending the recruitment of a liability insurance accounting profile, our client is looking for an external resource who can handle the following subjects:

• Be in charge of accounting recurrence work linked to Technical
• Control and justify technical accounts: premiums, redemptions, claims, arbitrations, transfers, advances, ACAV assets/liabilities in connection with Management and Technical
• Analyze and monitor the clearance of insured 402 and undue suspense accounts,
• Implementation and monitoring of indicators on the evolution of suspenses
• Participate in monthly social and IFRS closing work: commissions, overheads, closing of insurance liability accounts: accounting recurrence, framing of PSAPs, advances, arbitrations, etc.
• Participate in annual closing work: production of financial statements, analytical review of accounts, production of regulatory statements
• Participate in accounting department projects: review of accounting diagrams, updating of accounting settings linked to IT, automation of processes, etc.
• Participate in operational accounting work within the scope of policyholders: regulations, bank reconciliations, lettering
• Participate in other tasks of the accounting department for the sake of versatility
