Remediation Consultant / Credit Risk Program

As part of a BCE remediation project within a Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environment, we are looking for an independent consultant with expertise in credit risk to strengthen an ongoing mission in Paris.

Context

As part of a BCE remediation project within a Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environment, we are looking for an independent consultant to strengthen an ongoing mission. You will work on critical themes such as the Watchlist process, Early Warning, Stage 3 (S3) provisioning and collateral valuation. This mission is part of a remediation program in collaboration with a consulting firm.

Roles and responsibilities

• Project Management: Preparation and monitoring of committees (RAG), stakeholder management.
• Coordination and Writing: Participation in the writing of responses to the ECB, coordination of proofreading points with project stakeholders and sponsors.
• Operational Procedures: Writing of procedures and operating methods for carrying out back testing.
• Technical Expertise: Provide your expertise on credit risk, particularly on the risk framework, the watch list, the valuation of collateral and individual provisions (ECL Stage 3).

Deliverables

• Project monitoring reports
• Documentation and detailed operational procedures
• Structured responses to ECB requests
• Presentations for monitoring committees

Required Skills

• Experience: 5 to 7 years in the field of credit risk, ideally within investment banks or specialized consulting firms.
• Project Management: Solid experience in project management, committee preparation, monitoring and reporting.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in risk management framework, watch list, collateral valuation and Stage 3 provisions.
• Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills, in French and English.
• Language: Fluency in English required.
