IT Project Manager - Market Finance

Duration: 9 months | Start: October 2024 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max. €700

We are looking for an experienced freelance consultant for an IT Project Manager mission within a strategic project in the field of market finance for one of our banking clients in Paris.
You will be working on an information systems transformation program within a large public institution. The project in question aims to modernize and digitalize the process of setting loan rates, which is currently manual and a source of operational risks. The project is underway and will begin its acceptance phase this summer.

Roles and responsibilities :

As an IT Project Manager, your main missions will be as follows:

• Manage the entire project in close collaboration with a business Project Manager.
• Lead the various governance bodies (COPRO, COPIL) and write the reports.
• Ensure the coordination of technical teams and the integrator service provider.
• Manage project risks, anticipate potential problems and propose action plans.
• Monitor requests for evolutionary and corrective maintenance in collaboration with application managers.
• Ensure compliance with architecture, IT security, budget and planning standards.
• Organize and manage the technical and business testing and acceptance phases.
• Lead change with business and IT teams, ensuring the sustainability of the processes implemented.
• Prepare and present the Project Completion Report at the end of the mission.

Required Skills :

• Proven expertise in market finance and management of complex IT projects.
• Experience in managing projects in Agile mode.
• Mastery of digitalization and task automation processes.
• Ability to manage projects in multi-stakeholder environments with critical issues.
• Strong skills in communication, writing technical documents and organizing training.

Mission details:

Duration: Planned mission of 9 months (136 man-days)

Expected deliverables:

• Prioritized Requirements Matrix.
• Decision and Action Tracking File (RIDA).
• Deliverables for monitoring the action plan, planning, and support for the project and steering committees.
• Project Completion Report (PCR).
• Monthly activity report.
