Senior Banking IT Project Manager

Duration: 22 months | Start: May 2024 | Location: Paris Intramuros | Max TJM: €840

Our client, a major player in the Corporate Banking sector based in Paris, is committed to overhauling a guarantee management tool. To support this strategic project, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager capable of effectively leading IT project management and the deployment of front end and back end solutions.

Context : 

The portal for managing guarantees given was put into service in 2021, in order to interact with the Bank's clients (Partner Financial Institutions) within the framework of guarantees given on individual loans or loan portfolios. The objectives of the tool are to:

• Implement a secure and scalable exchange portal with our banking partners
• Allow, through this portal, to centralize and make the information received reliable
• Streamline and professionalize exchanges between banking partners and our structure

The challenge of the tool redesign project therefore aims to exit the temporary degraded mode, in order to provide end-to-end management of the guarantees given.

Technical and business objectives:

• Transfer the portal to the PSN (Secure Digital Services Platform) to have 2 separate portals (agents and partners)
• Create interfaces and automate flows between the 3 areas of the PSN (Front, Middle and Back) and the Legacy IS
• Enrich the management application for the benefit of business users in order to professionalize the manual processing currently carried out.

Responsibilities & missions: The IS project manager is responsible for coordinating all the IT department stakeholders for the organization, monitoring and completion of the planned work.

Manage and support the preliminary project

• Organize workshops with trades and architects, and the PSN team
• Pilots the feasibility study of scenarios
• Formalize the Project Opportunity Sheet (FOP) and present it to the Information Systems Committee (COSI) for validation of the continuation of the project

Manage and support the design

• Support the drafting of Detailed Functional and Technical Specifications
• Support architecture and interface workshops
• Update requirements matrix

Carry out design monitoring between the publisher, the PSN team, the architects, the entity that develops the interfaces and the MOAs.

• Monitor implementation by the various stakeholders
• Formalize the Project Update Sheet (FAP) and present it to the Information Systems Committee (COSI) for validation of the continuation of the project

Organize and produce batch recipes

• Define recipe strategy
• Make the recipe using SQUASH
• Monitor anomalies/evolutions with the JIRA ticketing tool
• Write the revenue report and make interim reports

Manage the deployment

• Organize the implementation of user support and RUN

Manage the project

• Manage the different pre-project and project phases: design, production, acceptance and change management
• Prepare the materials and lead the different bodies (COPRO, COPIL and other identified bodies)
• Report project alerts to the ASO Pole Manager
• Lead the project team (internal and external)

Report on the progress of the project

• Validate the arbitration points
• Report alert points

Required profile :

• Minimum of 9 years of proven experience in an IS project manager role
• Proven expertise in managing IS projects/programs
• Knowledge of the banking sector
• Significant experience in implementing front end, back end solutions.
• Ability to challenge development teams (TMA)
• Knowledge of procurement procedures

• Start: May 2024
• Duration: 22 months (May 2024 to February 2026)
• Full-time
• Teleworking: 2 days maximum per week, and in agreement with the mission manager
• Location: Paris intramuros
