IT Bank Project Manager

Duration: 8 months minimum | Start: July - August 2023 | Location: Paris La Défense | TJM: according to profile

As part of a name change, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager (+ 10 years of experience) on behalf of one of our banking clients, based in Paris.

Context :
Our banking client aims to launch a name change project.
A project relating to the change of name in the IS has been launched.
Responsibility for the project is entrusted to the PPM (Project Portfolio office). Within the Operations and Information Systems Department, the Project Portfolio Office is responsible for the smooth running of all of the Bank's projects.

Mission objectives:
We are looking for a project manager who will manage the entire project to ensure delivery within the deadlines, budgets and quality levels defined by the Head of PPO.

The main objective is to ensure project management in coordination with the affected multidisciplinary teams, in order to secure deliveries within the allotted deadlines, budget and scope. In order to achieve this, the chosen project manager will be responsible for the elements below:

• Coordination of the impact study
• Estimated budget required for project implementation
• Proposal for subdivision of the sites necessary for the implementation of the projects
• Definition and monitoring of the project schedule
• Updating and monitoring the project budget
• Identification, prevention and monitoring of risks and problems encountered
• Coordination of the implementation of all phases of the project
• Identification, consolidation and monitoring of project dependencies within the scope
• Development and monitoring of the capacity plan for all projects in the scope
• Development and monitoring of the use schedule for the application environments necessary for the execution of all projects within the scope

Non-exhaustive list of deliverables to be produced during the mission:

• Examine the files for the passages in the various decision-making bodies (Project Portfolio Board, Project Steering and Operational Committees, Architecture Committees), prepare the associated supports and write the minutes
• Updating each project in the Clarity tool
• Updating and monitoring the monthly budget
• Capacity plan
• Project and program planning
• Budget monitoring tables
• IT environment monitoring schedule
• Matrix of actions, risks, problems and dependencies

Profile sought / Skills required:

• IT-oriented project manager with at least 10 years of experience
• Successful experience in organizational transformation integrating business, organizational and change management aspects
• Project and program management – Expertise level
• Change support – Mastered level
• Knowledge of back office operations: essential
• Knowledge of the banking sector
• Budgetary control and consumption control
• Expertise in setting up project portfolios and building teams of associated project managers
• Clarity tool, PowerPoint and Excel – Proficiency desired
• Fluent command of English and French is essential
• Soft Skills: rigor, dynamism, able to work under pressure, autonomous, reactive, pro-active, comfortable in oral and written communication
