Program Director - DORA (Insurance)

Duration: 12 months | Start: ASAP | Location: Ile de France | Daily rate: according to profiles

 

We are looking for an experienced consultant to act as DORA Program Director with a major player in the sector insurance based in Ile de France. The DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) regulation aims to strengthen the operational resilience of financial entities and their third-party service providers in the face of cyber threats and incidents related to information technology.

The main challenges of this mission include:
- Move from contractual management of third parties to management truly focused on operational risk.
- Develop a strategic and coordinated vision of operational resilience testing.
- Engage top management to ensure continued accountability for program build and run.

 

Roles and responsibilities

As DORA Program Director, your main missions will be:

  • Ensure the transition with the DORA 2024 Program Director.
  • Building the RACI and identifying stakeholders for 2025.
  • Organize and deploy DORA governance for 2025.
  • Manage and supervise the completion of planned projects, including:
    • The services provided by the partner selected for the build and the run.
    • Internal initiatives, particularly in relation to asset management, business infrastructure remediation and change management.
    • The deployment of DORA projects to subsidiaries.
  • Lead and coordinate the program in conjunction with contributors, the core team and sponsors.
  • Maintain and consolidate the backlog of deliverables for the regulator.

 

Required Skills

  • More than 10 years of experience in complex program management in financial or insurance environments.
  • Proven expertise on operational risk, IT risk and cybersecurity issues.
  • Proven experience in program leadership, with an ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills, with an ability to structure and manage strategic programs.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Professional English.
