ALM Consultant – Market Risks and Front Office – Banking sector (M/F)

Duration: 1 year | Start: ASAP | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max. €850 / €900 depending on profiles

We are looking for a ALM consultant (Asset & Liability Management) experienced to support one of our banking clients in the context of a strategic project. The experiences market risks and front office will be greatly appreciated.
The consultant will be integrated into the ALM team to strengthen the RUN as well as to contribute to a strategic project, the TOM 26 project, concerning the evolution of ALM indicators and tools.

Roles and responsibilities

Support on the RUN

• Conduct studies on the needs for the development of ALM indicators in dynamic management.
• Propose and adapt new ALM strategies.
• Ensure that these strategies are integrated into ALM indicators.
• Help create or develop management indicators and pricers.
• Monitor coverage relationships and ensure their consistency.

Support for the TOM 26 project

• Analyze the ALM issues related to the project.
• Adapt EUCs (End-User Computing) and ALM pricers to new information systems.
• Write deliverables and formalize operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Expertise in banking ALM, with over 10 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of balance sheet risks (interest rates, exchange rates) and market risks.
• Front office experience and mastery of hedge accounting concepts (knowledge of French GAAP would be a plus).
• Familiarity with FIS FOCUS, Bloomberg, MS Office, Power BI tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication in French and English.
• Bac+5 training (or equivalent) in finance, risk management or related field.
