ALM Finance Consultant – Market Risks (M/F)

We are looking for a freelance consultant specializing in ALM Finance, with a focus on the market risks, to support a transformation project within a major player in the banking sector in Paris.
The consultant will work closely with the ALM Manager to contribute to key initiatives including dynamic interest rate risk management, efficiency testing, and the calculation of coverage ratios.

Roles and responsibilities :

• Support the ALM manager in implementing interest rate risk management strategies.
• Participate in the work of optimizing and monitoring coverage effectiveness tests.
• Contribute to improving the processes for calculating and monitoring coverage ratios.
• Analyze the impacts of rate variations on portfolios and propose optimization solutions.
• Interact with front office or market risk management teams to ensure a clear understanding of the issues.

Required Skills :

• Proven expertise in interest rate risk management and ALM.
• Strong technical skills in efficiency testing and coverage management.
• Prior experience in front office or market risks, ideally on transformation projects.
• Ability to understand and model dynamic rate risk management.
• Analytical rigor, autonomy, and ease in a changing environment.
