ALM Consultant - Banking sector (M/F)

Duration: 1 year | Start: early January 2025 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max. €850 / €900 depending on profiles

We are looking for an expert ALM consultant to support the teams of our banking client, based in Paris. The objective is to intervene to support the team in its daily activities (RUN) and in the context of ongoing projects.

Roles and responsibilities :
RUN ALM support:

• Monitoring management events and anticipating impacts on ALM indicators.
• Participation in the Rates and Exchange committees.
• Management of ALM indicators and formulation of management proposals.
• Monitoring of coverage relationships.

Project contribution:

• Carrying out studies and analyses of ALM issues related to the project.
• Writing structured deliverables.
• Identification of anomalies, reporting and monitoring of corrections via JIRA testing.
• Implementation and updating of operational procedures.
• Updated ALM macro processes.

Required Skills :

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
• Expertise in banking ALM with very good knowledge of balance sheet risks: rates and exchange rates.
• Knowledge of hedge accounting.
• Experience in project management or transformation (a plus).
• Mastery of tools: FIS FOCUS (ALM software), Bloomberg, and MS Office.
• Fluent in French and English, with excellent oral and written fluency.
