IT Project Manager - DATA

Duration: 3 years | Start: July 2024 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: according to profiles

As part of a strategic project to overhaul the repositories in order to rationalize, centralize and make the reference data more reliable, we are looking for a IT Project Manager - DATA on behalf of one of our banking clients based in Paris. This mission will last 3 years, starting in July 2024.

Main mission:
The IT - DATA Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the project (budget, planning, governance) as well as the technical implementation (integration of the solution, monitoring of the implementation, MEP). He will work in close collaboration with the main Business Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

Drive / Direct:

• Represent the IT department and the project sponsor.
• Identify activities consistent with MAPI (PMP) and agile methodologies.
• Plan the work to be carried out and propose guidelines on all subjects.
• Prepare decisions to be submitted to the steering bodies (COPIL, COMEX) and produce presentation materials in collaboration with the Principal Business Project Manager.

Manage, in close collaboration with the Business Project Manager:

• Manage internal and external project resources.
• Manage risks, incidents and problems associated with the project.
• Manage changes and contractual commitments.
• Ensure financial, budgetary and planning monitoring.
• Communicate on the progress of the project.
• Monitor the implementation of the Purchasing section for the Consultation and Negotiation Procedure (PCN) and manage exchanges with the publisher/integrator.

Carry out with your project team:

• Analysis of the existing situation (data, processes, functions, applications, materials).
• Upgrading of notions and concepts around Products & Operations.
• Impact analysis and construction of implementation scenarios.
• Data recovery strategy and synchronization with current consumer tools.
• Functional, financial and contractual study of the scope and means of integrating the solution
• Design and implementation of the target solution, testing of the solution and support for change.

Required profile :

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an IT and/or DATA Project Manager on complex IS projects.
• Experience in strategy, governance, cataloging, modeling and data quality.
• Experience in the banking sector, ideally in the implementation of repositories.
• Experience in formalizing business processes, developing IT trajectory, choosing target solutions (with interactions with publishers).
• Operational experience of IT projects.
• Skills in budget management and forecasting.
• Experience in coordinating multiple actors.
• Ability to prepare and report to steering bodies (COPRO / COPIL)
• Supervisory skills.
